Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-15

This Cookie Policy explains how Sightl uses cookies and similar technologies. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as staying signed in).

Cookies we use

Sightl is intentionally cookie-light. Today we use only strictly necessary cookies:

  • Authentication / session— set when you sign in, so you stay logged in and your requests are secure. Without it, the app can’t keep you authenticated.

Your language is chosen from the page URL, so we do not need a language cookie. We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, but we describe them here for transparency.

If this changes

If we later add optional cookies (for example, privacy-friendly analytics), we will ask for your consent first through a cookie notice, and no such cookies will be set until you opt in.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from signing in to Sightl.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we will update the date above when we do.
